If the Job Invoice Style is set to 'No Invoice' the Materials Cost Centre defined on the Job Details screen will be used to post all Material Costs. The Labour C/C (Cost Centre) on the Job Header will be used to post all Labour Costs.

It should be noted, that if these are not defined at the time a cost is posted to a No Invoice job, all costs will be posted to the Job Work In Progress Cost Centre. When the Job is marked as 'Closed' all costs will then be moved to the Materials Cost Centre defined on the Job Details screen. At this point, Labour costs will not be split and will not be posted to the Labour C/C. Therefore you should always define both Cost Centres on the Job Detail screen prior to posting any costs to the Job. This way these Costs will be directly posted to the relevant Cost Centres, at the time the cost is incurred for that Job.
