Preliminary Testing Phase:

Cloud Environment Testing – Update 243

The initial phase of testing will focus on the cloud-hosted database environment, as this will be the primary platform for sites migrating forward. Further information will be provided at a later stage regarding setup in a local environment.

Development-X has provisioned an Amazon server (located in Sydney) and loaded a dedicated Demo database for each Partner Organisation in the Update 243 environment.

Before attempting to log on, please review the Help Documentation relating to the new optional Password Strength Logic introduced in this version.

User Setup and Passwords

• Each registered 243 test users username will be their email address and will also have a default password of 'PASS' (NB: uppercase)
• On their first login, users will be required to change this password to a stronger, unique password.
• (This mandatory password change is an optional new feature in Update 243.)

Primary Objectives of Testing

This preliminary testing phase is designed to confirm that the environment is:

• Robust and stable
• Performs effectively under multiple concurrent users

We encourage Partners to run the typical processes most frequently used by your client sites. Since each Partner has expertise in different areas of Ostendo, this approach will help ensure broad and practical test coverage.
