Negative Stock

For Items that are received where the stock is currently in negative (I.e. has already been issued at a known cost) then the cost difference of the Receipt and the current cost will be posted to the negative stock adjustment Cost Centre

NEGATIVE ADJUSTMENT VARIANCE

 


Inventory:


The Inventory Warehouse Category Mapping is evaluated first to determine the Inventory Cost Centre for the Item based upon its Category. If no Warehouse Category Mapping rule exists,


then the Inventory Cost Centre is evaluated from the Warehouse of the transaction to determine the Cost Centre for Inventory. If no Warehouse Inventory Cost Centre exists,


then the Stock Cost Centre from the Base Cost Centre Mapping is used 



Negative Adjustment Variance:


The Inventory Warehouse Category Mapping is evaluated first to determine the Negative Stock Cost Centre for the Item based upon its Category. If no Warehouse Category Mapping rule exists,


then the Inventory Cost Centre is evaluated from the Warehouse of the transaction to determine the Cost Centre for Negative Stock. If no Warehouse Negative Stock Cost Centre exists,


then the Negative Stock Cost Centre from the Base Cost Centre Mapping is used
