Resolving Connection Issues

A Red Connection Status Indicator icon reflects a disconnection between Ostendo and Xero, therefore further action is required in order to resolve this.

In order to resolve this situation, you need to determine where the issue lies. There could be one of a number of reasons why this may have occurred. Follow this process to identify the issue.

Determining the Response Code from Xero:

    • Go to the General Ledger Settings screen in Ostendo File -> Financial Configuration -> General Ledger Settings
    • Press the 'Connect' button to test the connection

    • A Connection message will appear along with a Response Code Error Number and a brief explanation of that error code.
