Testing the Ostendo To Xero Connection



There could be times where you wish to test the current Ostendo to Xero connection.


The current Connection Status is shown at the bottom of the Ostendo main screen




You can test the current connection by navigating to the General Ledger Settings screen and pressing the "Connect" button


    • File -> Financial Configuration ->  General Ledger Settings



    • Upon a successful connection the following message will be displayed showing the Xero Organisation Ostendo is connected to




    • A XeroTaxList.txt file will also be launched showing the Mapped External Tax Types and Codes in both systems. Confirm this information is correct. If not, correct in Ostendo Tax Codes and come back to the GL Settings screen and press the ‘Connect’ button to refresh and check.
